With a gentle sigh as soft as the breeze,
My body is rolled without the greatest of ease.
Must sleep, need sleep, can't sleep.
The air is thick and hot to the touch
Clinging to skin just a little too much.
Must sleep, need sleep, can't sleep.
An envious glance at my dog in his bed,
Covered in fur from his tail to his head.
Snoring away in his unconscious state,
Why is it I who must have to wait?
Must sleep for work.
Need sleep to think.
Can't sleep at all.
Not even a wink.
